The Grand Canyon, Zion, Mesa Verde & Bryce National Parks are all within a few hours drive. The four corners region includes other wonderful places to visit, such as Monument Valley, Canyon De Chelly, and Lake Powell. Recreational opportunities abound throughout the area, such as hiking, mountain biking, skiing, rock climbing, and camping. Durango, Colorado; Moab, Utah; Sedona and Flagstaff, Arizona; Taos and Santa Fe, New Mexico are just some of the communities in the region. Major urban areas are a half day's drive away and include Albuquerque, New Mexico or Phoenix, Arizona.

With nearly 300 days of sunshine per year, and an elevation of 6000 to 7000 feet, the region offers a comfortable four season climate. The area boasts a varied topography that includes forested mountains, deep canyons, beautiful red rock formations, high mesas, and high elevation desert.
